HATS Software Testing Engineer
If you want to get started volunteering today, one thing we can really use your help with is HATS testing. Have you heard about whats been going on with the new Healthcare.gov website? We thought so. HATS is in it’s pre-release and may have some bugs in it. Before we make it available to the public, we want to test it out. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity just click here. If you know you are interested, you will have to get an ID# and for that you will have to email [email protected] (make sure to include “Tester ID” in the subject of your email).
Skills needed
- Basic computer skills including working within browser interface software
- Attention to detail
- Ability to report findings
Commitment requested
Each test report takes about 2 – 15 minutes to complete, you can complete as many test runs as your time allows. This is a virtual position. Minimum time required is an average of 5 hours/week.

HATS Social Media Marketer
If you want to get started volunteering today, one thing we can really use your help with is promoting HATS testing. Did you know that December 1st is World AIDS Day? We want to let others know that we are launching the HATS software to fight AIDS. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity just click here. If you know you are interested, you will have to get a unique link by emailing [email protected] (make sure to include “HATS Social media password” in the subject of your email).
Skills needed
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Facebook or Twitter.
- Ability to post and IM friends
- Follow directions to message others online to fight AIDS.
Commitment requested
Each volunteer will be challenged to get a minimum of 10 other individuals to take HATS using online social networking. You can get as many users as time allows. We will track the number of individuals who use your link to take HATS. You can work for as long as your time allows. This is a virtual position. Minimum time required is an average of 5 hours/week.
